How to apply
The Marie G. Solis Foundation awards yearly grants to organizations that focus on end-of-life care. Applications for grants are accepted until May 31st each year. The Board of Directors reviews grant applications in the late summer and makes awards in the fall. The amount of funds awarded varies dependent on the Foundation's resources and the needs of the applicants.
Applications can be submitted by e-mail in PDF form to grants@mariesolisfoundation.org or by mail to Marie G. Solis Foundation, 308 N. Main St. Ste. 400, Chalfont, PA 18914. If you prefer to receive a paper application through the mail each year, please contact us and we would be happy to accommodate you.
If you have previously received a Grant, please also submit a Grant Report with your application. A blank Report is included below.
Who is eligible
The Marie G. Solis Foundation gives preference to organizations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey whose missions focus on providing end-of-life care or services during the final stages of life, and emphasize a patient's quality of life.
There are a wide array of organizations that can qualify for a grant from the Foundation. The organization generally provides grants to hospice facilities and visiting nurses associations. The foundation also considers grants for organizations that provide services, such as companionship and care packages, to hospice patients or individuals in the final stages of life.
If you are unsure whether your organization qualifies for a grant, please reach out via e-mail at mail@mariesolisfoundation.org.
